We, as an university
students who are enlisted in education major, are about to teach students.
Whether they are from elementary, junior high, senior high, or by any chance
people who are older than us. As a teacher, we need to know how to teach the
young learners, especially about English, our main lesson. One thing that
should be considered important is the materials or the lessons which we
must divide, and restrain them to not giving any difficulties for our learners.
In addition, by knowing our best approach to their psychologies we are
able to know how fast our learners can learn, or are they
having fun and understand with our lesson or not. These factors are important
for both sides, we as teachers need their opinion and reaction, while they as
students need our knowledge and lesson. The most important thing now is
how we implement them all in one word: Lesson. For some people English is a
boring lesson, but for young learners, English is an interesting lesson. We
need to tell them how important English is for their future. We also need to
know and teach them how they will use it in the future civilization,
considering that globalization era already influencing the usage of English
language. The effect is the increasing of the needs of English, but the needs can be deacreasing if teachers
does not not give proper explanation or exciting ways to teach young learners.
