HOME SWEET HOME

I want to tell you about my house in Trenggalek. My house in Trenggalek is very wide. There are 9 rooms in my house. There are living room, 3 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, family room, toilet, and a small library. My living room is in front of and near the door. When you walk in my house, beside the living room there are 2 bedrooms. One is my parent’s rooms and the other is my room and my sister of course. Behind of my room there are kitchen and dining room. After that, my family room is in front of the toilet. Between family room and dining room, we have a small library. You can read a lot of books in there. Then, there is a guest room beside the toilet. I love my house because is really simple and not difficult to find it. People who have visited my house feel cool because my house is near the field and there are many trees and flowers in my house. How about your house?

ENGLISH FOR YOUNG LEARNERS

English for young learners is very important and we can teach to the children about how to teach English and speak English very well. To learn about English of course we need a process. Without any process we cannot teach English to young learners. It all depends on the material provided by teacher to the children. Therefore, there are many ways to teach the young learners about English. First, the teacher will explain the material; don’t use word too much because children will easily to get bored. Also use image to entertain the children.  Second, the teacher must have to tell stories about fairytales or something like that to improve skill of the young learners. Third, the teacher would sing a happy song like “Twinkle-Twinkle” or “Oh Mc. Donald” to make the children feeling enjoyed to learn English with sings a song. That is my opinion about merit of Learning English for young learners.

MY BAD EXPERIENCE

I have a bad time yesterday. It occurs when my friends and I in my boarding house. At 12 P.M. we decided to go to MATOS because we are starving need to have lunch. After arriving in MATOS, we went to sushi restaurant and ate sushi. Before leaving MATOS, I got an accident. My sandals broken. It is a shameful incident I was. I am so ashamed because there are many people in there. Then I talk with my friend, “What should I do? Oh My God!! I want to scream,” Somebody, please help me!”, but I can’t do it because the place is too crowded. After that, my friend Farida has an idea to solve my problem. She gives me a needle to fix my sandals. Finally, my sandals successfully repaired and I can go home.

Do you know about the announcement about SASTRASWATI Soul time? Now, I want to tell you about the poster.The poster is very interesting to me. The most important thing that makes me interested about the poster is the event. It is all about performing your style and talent on the stage. The performance of SASTRASWATI Soul time is band, acoustic, theater/opera, poem, dance, art performance, short movies, and many more. Another important thing about the poster is the combinationof color of the picture.From the picture I know there are many people and the situation is too crowded.Theyenjoyed the showbecause the show wassofestive andspectacular.Moreover, the performancesheldinfree. The one reason that that madeno senseofthe posterthereisa ghostimageon thetree. What is the functionofthe ghost? Theymayalso want toinvitethe ghosttoparticipatein the event. It was veryfunny.  Finally, that is explanation about SASTRASWATI Soul time 2013. I hopethe eventruns smoothly andhilariously.

MY FUTURE HUSBAND

Sooner or later,we will get married.In my mind,an ideal husband should meet several criteria,three of which are good looking, religious,and responsible.Firstly,my future husband should be good looking.I think good looking is not all about his face, but good looking about he must be smart,and maybe physically he is tall and the body is healthy and proposional,I mean not too fat because I don’t like someone who have fat body. I want husband with this criteria because he probably can help or protect me and make me feel save everywhere.Secondly,my future husband should be religious. Religious mean he must believe and always pray with God because withoutfaithhe could notbe apriestin the familyand could notbehis own household well. I think if my future husband is religious I would be glad and proud with him.Third,my future husband should be responsible. I mean responsible is husband who can be able totake the risk of anything for his wife and the children and willing to sacrificefor thewholefamily.Without anysense of responsibilitywouldmakesomeone not going tobe matureand willalways dependon the others.

In brief, I want my future husband can make me and my child happily ever after.

IMPORTANCE ABOUT ENGLISH EDUCATION

In today’s global world, the importance of English cannot be ignored since English is the most common language spoken everywhere. With the help of developing technology, English has been playing a major role in many sectors including medicine, engineering, and education is the most important.As we know that we are living in the world of globalization.

English language is a common language and is spoken in many countries. No one denies the importance of English language in the present time as global language. There is no doubt that, the English is language of communication between the people with different cultures like in America and Asia.It is also the language of computers that help to communicate with the people around the world through Internet technology and e-mail.

There are various reasons for the importance of English language. The firstis travel. When a person travels to another part of the world either for the sake of business or even as a tourist, the languages may different. English is the language that helps people to deal with the situation. It is like a universal language.The second is same country. In countries like India, where the land is so vast with people of various cultures live, the languages of each part of the country also different. English can be the only link as people in each place will not be able to learn all the other languages to communicate with the people.
The third is education or studies. The presence of English as a universal language assumes importance in the fact that more and more people leave their countries not only for the sake of business and pleasure, but also for studying. Education has increased the role of English. People who go to another country to study can only have English as their medium of study. This is because the individual will not be able to learn a subject in the local language of the country. This again reinforces the fact that English language is very important. The fourth is correspondence.All correspondences between offices in different countries and also between political leaders of various countries are in English. This linkingfactor also tells of the importance of English language. The last is Internet. In spite of the growth of Internet in various languages, English is the mainstay of the Internet users. This is the language in which most of the information and websites are available. It is very difficult to translate each and every relevant webpage into the language of various countries.

Learning another language is has many effects. Firstlyis developing knowledge. This effect is very important because if we have knowledge, we know how to understand a situation. For example, we need to apply for work in other countries and it is easy for us to give more details or information if we know how to communicate with other people and how to speak a language, so it is easier to find jobs. We can answer what they ask and what they mean. Secondlyis effect of English as a global language is that companies are able to trade with foreign companies easily. In fact, there are few countries in the world that are self-sufficient now. The overseas market has grown and has become important today. Consequently, most companies are trading with foreign companies. If a company cannot communicate well with foreign companies, their business deals may fall through. So, before, in a meeting or a conference, people used to communicate through a translator.Thirdlyis effect of English as a global language is that people spend a lot of time to learn English. In my case, I spent more time studying English than studying other subjects when I was a high school student. A lot of students usually go to a private institute to learn English after school. Other countries are similar to this situation. Even though students are not good at math or other subjects, they spend much time studying English because many people think that English is the most important subject.

In conclusion, English as a global language affects companies in communicating well with foreign companies. Also, it makes people to spend a lot of time to learn English. I think that there are both positive effects and negative effects of English as a global language, but one thing that we have to remind ourselves is that we cannot live well without using English. The necessity of English as a global language is very obvious. Indeed, we will use English even more in the future.
