   In this globalization era, there have been so many kinds of transportation which are really useful in human’s life, for example cars. I saw two cars that have been parked in front of Q3 building this evening, there were Toyota Avanza and Suzuki Ertiga. Both cars look different at first glance. The differences between those two cars were in brand, color, price and of course number plate. When I saw the Avanza I directly felt an interest in it. It had silver color that made it looks beautiful. As one of the best cars, it also has a high price. The price was for about Rp. 170.000.000. The last thing I saw from the car was the number plate which was mounted on lower part of the car. The number plate was N 1846 CJ. Beside the Avanza, was also parked an Ertiga which has red color. It was looked brighter than the Avanza. It’s price was around Rp. 175.000.000. I also saw it’s number plate from the place where I stood up. The number place was N 386 GC. They also have the same thing in exterior, interior and their function. Let me saw Toyota Avanza from the exterior. The color was resembled to a spoon, It was silver colored minivan. It measures about 4 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width, and 1.6 meters in height. Like most minivan, it has a hood, 3 rear windows, 2 doors on each side, and a door on it backside.  Now let me gave a look on it interior. Just like most minivan it has 2 seats on in front, 3 in the middle, and also 3 seats at the back side that can be folded. For entertainment media, it has a built in audio system. Toyota Avanza also has an air conditioner like most of modern cars. Now let me talked about overall function of this car. It is a minivan car, so that it used for traveling with people. The car is suitable for traveling with family or friends, and it is comfortable enough to fit up to 8 people inside it. It was a good car for traveling, but it can not go well in off road. This car was still able to travel on dirt road, but not a road with a rough surface.  Now let me continue to the second car. The second car is Suzuki Ertiga. From the outside or the exterior, we could see it has red color. For the measurement 4 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width and also in height. Same as Toyota Avanza, it has a hood, 3 rear windows, 2 doors on each side, and a door on the backside. For the interior, it has 2 seats in first row, 3 seats in the second row, and 3 seats in the last row the last row seats can be folded. As a minivan as common, the overall function is suitable for traveling with family or friends. Approximately 8 people can get into this car. Same like Toyota Avanza, this Suzuki Ertiga will not be able to travel in rough road. In brief, Toyota Avanza and Suzuki Ertiga have differences and similarities in a few ways.

            In this globalizationera, there has been so many kinds of transportations, which are useful in human’s life. A car is one of them.  This is an example of car transportation that I saw in front of my class some days ago. When I looked out the windows, I found two cars were parked near my class.  They are Avanza and Ertiga. At a glance, they looked similar. However, they are different inseveral things. First of all, I will tell you about the similarity of those cars. I have divided it into three identical parts: interior, exterior, and function. Avanza and Ertiga are equal in their interior. They have two seats in front, which are on the right side on the driver’s seat and the left on the passenger, three seats in the middle, and threebackseats that can be folded. The position of the rear view mirror, steering wheel, gearshift, and the handbrake are also similar. They are in the front, surely near the driver’s seat. For the entertainment media, they have a built-in audio system and an air conditioner like most modern car in common. Next, the exterior of Avanza has similarity with Ertiga. Both cars are minivan. Avanza’s trunk is at the back and so is Ertiga. The hood of those cars is in front, where the engines are.  The codes of their license plates, which show car area, are the same. That is N for Malang city. Last, the function of Avanza is just the same as Ertiga. They are types of family car so they are suitable for travelling. Conversely, they cannot be driven for travelling over rough ground. To sum up, Avanza and Ertiga are alike in several ways. In other hand, those cars had some differences, which can be classified in four aspects; those are brand name, colour, price, and plate number.   The first dissimilarity which is very clear, is the brand name.  The car on the right side is Toyota Avanza.  We can find the brand name on the backside of the car’s body.  It is on the left side and below the back screen.  While the other car on the left side is Suzuki Ertiga.  The easiest way to know the brand name is by looking for it on the backside of the car’s body.  You will see the word “Ertiga” as the brand name of the car.  The next distinction between those two cars is the colour.  We can see it clearly.  Toyota Avanza is the one with a black colour.  In a contrast, Suzuki Ertiga has a silver colour.  From the price, we can also find the difference.  Toyota Avanza is worth about Rp 170.000.000.  Whereas Suzuki Ertiga has a price which is a little bit more expensive, it is about Rp 175.000.000. The other dissimilarity from those two cars is the number plate.  The number plate of Toyota Avanza is N 1846 CJ.  On the other hand, Suzuki Ertiga’s number plate is N 386 GC.  In brief, although those cars have equality in some aspects, they will have different features due to their different brand name and price so that customers are supposed to choose their own transportation selectively.

Using Enjoyment Activity to increase Young Learners Motivation to English

We all know that English is the international languange so English becomes an important language in some countries, especially in Indonesia. Many parents want to teach their children to learn English from an early age. It is not easy to teach English to young learners because they still like to play. Even  some young learners assume that English is a difficult language. So they feel lazy to learn it.  At an early age, we need to teach the basic English at first, such as alphabet, numbers, colors, and also conversations simple and easy. Besides, the young learners also need to be given a medium to facilitate them so that they are more focused on learning. Therefore, we necessary use several methods that it can help them to learn English easily.
 The most importance method is we can apply it through songs. We need to pick songs that fit to develop English so its song election should not be arbitrary. For example, the songs that are commonly used is a song about the alphabet, numbers, colors, days, and so on. If we sing a song about the alphabet, the song will help children to spell and read the text in the English support. The young learners will also feel comfortable by the song because the song did not give a sense of boredom but instead provide the knowledge they can use. The second prominent method is the teaching English by using games. The games are meant here not only the games that are often played by children through computers but games are often  used in schools. For example: action games, board game, vocab game, and etc. When the young learners are playing the games, the circumstances of the child's brain is being quiet because she was happy and cheerful so the lessons can go in and embedded easily and well. The least point  is the learning English by using stories. We can provide the interesting stories, such as short stories for children , fables , fairy tales, and folktales. The young learners choose the stories that they like so it helps them to understand the content of the stories. Besides, they prefer to read the story books that it has good pictures.
                   If we use the methods to the young learners , they can get some positive effects to increase their English. For one thing,  it will help their interest to learn English because the young learners actually prefer to play with their friends so their interest become less than the maximum toward the learning English. Besides, they feel happy, not bored, and interested in participating in the learning process. For example, in the learning English by the using songs, it functions more as a play activity of the learning activity or delivery of messages. The song can give satisfaction, joy, and happiness to children so that they can encourage their children to study harder. The next prominent thing is comprehension. The methods facilitate the young learners in understanding the teaching materials that are presented. The young learners will more quickly learn, master, and practice a teaching material delivered by educators. In addition to the young learners’ ability to hear (listening), singing (singing), creativity (being creative) can be trained through this activity because from the methods there is an element of visual and audio interactive but also makes the students can interact with the game program on a subject. An example is the Quiz game. The last thing is the success of the process of learning English. If the young learners have good interest and understanding in the learning English, they will be successful to increase their English. Besides, the methods will make the young learners more productive. It lead to a positive thing so it can increase the love and appreciation of the young learners toward science and the search process of science itself.
                   The methods have the some similarities in presentation. First of all, they use vocabularies to teach English easily. The young learners will study and get new vocabularies that they have not learned. The young learners are not necessary memorizing all of the vocabularies in English because it all have been combined in the methods. Another similarity is the media. The methods typically use electronic media, such as a computer or laptop, CD player and etc because in this era of globalization, the media have evolved into more sophisticated media so that it displays features that attract more children to learn English. Moreover, the electronic media make it easier for teachers to teach lessons. The young children will not get bored or lazy and they will quickly understand the English language.
                   Based on the methods of the teaching English that have been described above, the method of the learning English support by using songs and games, is expected to English teachers can choose a suitable method for their students as described in the previous paragraph so there is no misunderstanding of the English language lessons . It will develop a child's motivation in English. The young learners will focus to learn English. In the learning English by using the song can also be used by parents who want their children to clever in the English language. The parents that have the English ability, can use the method through songs.
