In this globalization era, there have been so many kinds of transportation which are really useful in human’s life, for example cars. I saw two cars that have been parked in front of Q3 building this evening, there were Toyota Avanza and Suzuki Ertiga. Both cars look different at first glance. The differences between those two cars were in brand, color, price and of course number plate. When I saw the Avanza I directly felt an interest in it. It had silver color that made it looks beautiful. As one of the best cars, it also has a high price. The price was for about Rp. 170.000.000. The last thing I saw from the car was the number plate which was mounted on lower part of the car. The number plate was N 1846 CJ. Beside the Avanza, was also parked an Ertiga which has red color. It was looked brighter than the Avanza. It’s price was around Rp. 175.000.000. I also saw it’s number plate from the place where I stood up. The number place was N 386 GC. They also have the same thing in exterior, interior and their function. Let me saw Toyota Avanza from the exterior. The color was resembled to a spoon, It was silver colored minivan. It measures about 4 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width, and 1.6 meters in height. Like most minivan, it has a hood, 3 rear windows, 2 doors on each side, and a door on it backside.  Now let me gave a look on it interior. Just like most minivan it has 2 seats on in front, 3 in the middle, and also 3 seats at the back side that can be folded. For entertainment media, it has a built in audio system. Toyota Avanza also has an air conditioner like most of modern cars. Now let me talked about overall function of this car. It is a minivan car, so that it used for traveling with people. The car is suitable for traveling with family or friends, and it is comfortable enough to fit up to 8 people inside it. It was a good car for traveling, but it can not go well in off road. This car was still able to travel on dirt road, but not a road with a rough surface.  Now let me continue to the second car. The second car is Suzuki Ertiga. From the outside or the exterior, we could see it has red color. For the measurement 4 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width and also in height. Same as Toyota Avanza, it has a hood, 3 rear windows, 2 doors on each side, and a door on the backside. For the interior, it has 2 seats in first row, 3 seats in the second row, and 3 seats in the last row the last row seats can be folded. As a minivan as common, the overall function is suitable for traveling with family or friends. Approximately 8 people can get into this car. Same like Toyota Avanza, this Suzuki Ertiga will not be able to travel in rough road. In brief, Toyota Avanza and Suzuki Ertiga have differences and similarities in a few ways.

In this globalizationera, there has been so many kinds of transportations, which are useful in human’s life. car is one of them.  This is an example of car transportation that I saw in front of my class some days ago. When I looked out the windows, I found two cars were parked near my class.  They are Avanza and Ertiga. At a glance, they looked similar. However, they are different inseveral things. First of all, I will tell you about the similarity of those cars. I have divided it into three identical parts: interior, exterior, and function. Avanza and Ertiga are equal in their interior. They have two seats in front, which are on the right side on the driver’s seat and the left on the passenger, three seats in the middle, and threebackseats that can be folded. The position of the rear view mirror, steering wheel, gearshift, and the handbrake are also similar. They are in the front, surely near the driver’s seat. For the entertainment media, they have a built-in audio system and an air conditioner like most modern car in common. Next, the exterior of Avanza has similarity with Ertiga. Both cars are minivan. Avanza’s trunk is at the back and so is Ertiga. The hood of those cars is in front, where the engines are.  The codes of their license plates, which show car area, are the same. That is N for Malang city. Last, the function of Avanza is just the same as Ertiga. They are types of family car so they are suitable for travelling. Conversely, they cannot be driven for travelling over rough ground. To sum up, Avanza and Ertiga are alike in several ways. In other hand, those cars had some differences, which can be classified in four aspects; those are brand name, colour, price, and plate number.   The first dissimilarity which is very clear, is the brand name.  The car on the right side is Toyota Avanza.  We can find the brand name on the backside of the car’s body.  It is on the left side and below the back screen.  While the other car on the left side is Suzuki Ertiga.  The easiest way to know the brand name is by looking for it on the backside of the car’s body.  You will see the word “Ertiga” as the brand name of the car.  The next distinction between those two cars is the colour.  We can see it clearly.  Toyota Avanza is the one with a black colour.  In a contrast, Suzuki Ertiga has a silver colour.  From the price, we can also find the difference.  Toyota Avanza is worth about Rp 170.000.000.  Whereas Suzuki Ertiga has a price which is a little bit more expensive, it is about Rp 175.000.000. The other dissimilarity from those two cars is the number plate.  The number plate of Toyota Avanza is N 1846 CJ.  On the other hand, Suzuki Ertiga’s number plate is N 386 GC.  In brief, although those cars have equality in some aspects, they will have different features due to their different brand name and price so that customers are supposed to choose their own transportation selectively.

SASTRASWATI
After my lecturer asked us to look at the posters which had been sticking in Q building’s hallway, I had an idea to write down about what I think of what is written there. From top to bottom, things that interest me most is the “Pocong” which is standing behind the tree, watching both the performance and the audiences. I am not sure whether it is there because of the show runs so marvelously so that even attracting ghost. The second less is the title and the “Nostalgila”. I thought that the title is Sastrawati or Saraswati, or maybe a mix of them, I do not know, after that is “Nostalgila”. It is a spin-off name from two words, “Nostalgia” and “Gila”. Maybe they represent the “Gila” as crazy nostalgia performance that will be shown there. The least is the poster’s design. There is nothing special from the content of the poster, fonts which are used in the poster, and the design is simple. But the arrangement makes people attracted to read the poster.

WHAT CONCERNS ME IN ENGLISH

Many things happened since I started to know English, started to love English. Although the language seems so simple, it contains many rules which need to be remembered, practiced, and finally used in social and real life. Finally in this work I pinpointed three causes why I still have difficulties using this language fluently. First is idea. I have lots of idea, anything I read, books, science, etcetera, but what I lack is that I cannot reform the ideas into one conclusion or one new idea which needs to be presented. Whether I did not know the order or the main topic, I do not know. But the thing is, until now I still lack the ability to reform ideas. Second cause is structural. For example I was given some framework for writing process. I always messed up, I  barely even know the main point of each framework nor the place where the frameworks should have been written. Finally, the last is self-confidence. I know the ideas, I know the topic, structure, etcetera, but one thing that I always miscalculate, my confidence. When I go forward, I always get sudden nervous, cold sweats dripping on my clothes. Worse is I forget the part of the topic I presented. Worst thing is I forget the entire topic and even the structure, there was time when I was so nervous that when my teacher ask me something I know, I cannot say a word. Briefly, because I have those drawbacks in using English, I cannot say them fluently. I usually keep silent even I know the topic.

Alternate Differences, M4A3 Sherman vs Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H
Everyone knows about World War 2, a war so devastating that over 60 million lives lost as the result. The war witnessed the use of armored vehicles which are used for penetrating enemy lines in land combat. Now I will tell you about two tanks that were commonly used and seen during the World War 2. First tank is M4A3 Sherman, formally called Medium Tank, M4, was the primary tank used by the United States during World War II. Thousands were also distributed to the Allies, including the British Commonwealth and the Soviet Union, via lend-lease. Its main weapon is L/40 75mm M3 Gun, which firing the usual M61 round could penetrate 89 mm of unsloped rolled homogeneous armor at 100m and 70 mm at 1000m. The secondary armaments are a coaxial .50 caliber Browning M2HB machine gun which can fire 300 rounds per minute (rpm) and a .30 caliber Browning M1919A4 machine guns which can fire up to 450 rpm. The Sherman has a weakness; its armor thickness is overpowered by later German’s tank and anti-tank gun.  The steel frontal body armor of the M4 ranged from 64–76 mm (2.52–2.99 inches). The side and the rear sported 38 mm armor. Now is the function. The M4 was envisioned to primarily fill the role of a cruiser tank, although the US Army did not use that doctrinal term. Also, the M4 was primarily intended as an infantry support tank, due to its mobility and small-sized body. Shermans have their own specification, but now I will tell you about the differences with another tank. The second tank is Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H (abbreviated as Pz.Kpfw. IV, and Ausf is Ausfuhrung, model in Germanic language) commonly known as the Panzer IV was a medium tank developed in Nazi Germany in the late 1930s and used extensively during the Second World War. Being reliable, it saw service in all combat theaters involving Germany and has the distinction of being the only German tank to remain in continuous production throughout the war, with over 8,800 produced between 1936 and 1945. Its main armament is 7.5 cm KwK 40 (7.5 cm Kampfwagenkanone 40), a German 7.5 cm Second World War era vehicle mounted gun, used as the primary anti-tank weapon of the German medium tanks. The KwK 40 used shell 75×495 mm which could penetrate a Sherman's armor up to a range of 1,370 – 1,500 meters. The secondary armaments are two 7.92 mm Maschinengewehr (Machine Gun) 42 Panzerlauf which can fire up to 1200 rpm, more devastating for infantry than the American machine guns. The armor boast on the frontal side, at exact 80-millimetre (3.15 inches) plate welded to the front armor. Panzer IV Ausf. H productions fitted with 30 mm (1.18 inches) thick rear and side armor. To simplify production, the vision ports on either side of the turret and on the right turret front were removed, while a rack for two spare road wheels was installed on the track guard on the left side of the hull. For function, after designed as an infantry-support tank, the PzKpfw IV soon assumed as the tank-fighting role of its increasingly obsolete cousins tanks by increasing the Panzer IV's armor protection or upgrading its weapons, body armor thickness, and the modules. In brief, both tanks are deadly for infantry and for each other although they have many dissimilitaries in them.

Block Similitaries, M4A3 Sherman and Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. H
Everyone knows about World War 2, a war so devastating that over 60 million lives lost as the result. The war witnessed the use of armored vehicles which are used for penetrating enemy lines in land combat. Most people who know the World War 2 recognized the two tanks that will be explained here. They are M4A3 Sherman and the PzKpfw IV Ausf. H. Both had seen in war especially in D-Day, Operation Overlord, the biggest invasion conducted by Allies in Normandy. Both tanks have their differences, but the similitaries is its main weapon. They used 75mm gun. Although they used the same weapon, the 75mm that the PzKpfw IVs have has 20% higher muzzle velocity than the Sherman’s. The theory means PzKpfw IVs are able to penetrate 92mm armor, whilst in the same range, Shermans can only penetrate 68mm armor. Next is the secondary weapon. They have two machine guns as the infantry support gun, such as suppressing and giving covering fire. One of the guns is placed coaxially on the top of the turret, for used by the commander or an additional infantry, and the other gun is placed in the right side of the front hull. They both are armoured vehicle, which means they are able to withstand ordinary bullet, such as 9mm, 5,56cm and 7,62cm. But they are both weak against 12,7 sized, .60 Panzerfaust, and anti-tanks such as American 57mm and the Germany PAK 43mm. The top armor are also thin, makes them overly vulnerable against Self-Propelled Gun and artilleries. Last one is the function. They are both used for infantry support, such as giving cover, covering and suppressing fire, and ambushing convoys. In a nutshell, both tanks are used for supporting infantry and for breaking enemy lines, but although they seem invulnerable, they still have things that should be fear or avoid.
